If you decide I am the right photographer for your day your first step will be to meet with me to discuss the packages, your plans, and confirm that we are a good match. You will then review, and sign, the contract and provide a non-refundable retainer of 20% of your selected package to hold your scheduled date. Your contract will include the terms of your services as well as a commitment to the package of your choice. Once your retainer, and contract, have been received I will hold that date exclusively for your wedding. The remaining balance from the package you selected must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to your wedding date. Refunds, minus the non refundable retainer, will be provided with at least 30 days cancelation notice. Because my schedule is full I cannot guarantee coverage if your date, or time, change once you have entered into a contract. Rescheduled dates will be considered on a case by case basis and I will make every attempt to continue to work with you despite the changes. ONE MONTH BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
About one month before your wedding date I will mail you some general information including tips for better images as well as a questionnaire for you to complete and return to me. The questionnaire will allow me to get all of the details down on paper including any concerns, special circumstances, and overall preferences. I will also send you an invoice for the remainder of your balance due. *Remember payment in full for the entire package must be received 30 days prior to your wedding date.* ONE WEEK BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
About one week before your wedding date we will have a brief phone consultation to review the specifics of your day including the schedule of events, directions to the venues, and any other last minute questions or concerns. THE DAY BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
You will receive a check up call from me the day before your wedding to ensure everything is on schedule and as planned. I will also try to visit the venue, if I am unfamiliar with the space, to get a feel for the area and decide where we will do photos. WEDDING DAY
On wedding day I will arrive, with my assistant, at least one hour prior to the first scheduled event to get a feel for the day and launch a preemptive strike on any potential last minute challenges. Typically I will begin photographs with the details of your day such as flowers, shoes, and such while you settle into the venue and relax. Once your day officially begins I will be there to capture every detail of your day. At some point during your day I ask that you schedule in one hour for private, personal, photographs with just the bride and groom. This can take place before the ceremony if you are open to seeing each other dressed ahead of time, in between ceremony and reception, or after you make your entrance at the reception and greet your guests. However you choose to schedule your day allowing ample time for photographs is critical to obtaining the intimate images I hope to deliver. We may simply walk to another area of the venue or we may hop in cars and drive to a wonderful scenic spot I found on my pre-wedding day scouting trip. This provides time for you to relax and enough time for me to be thorough & creative! AFTER YOUR WEDDING
After the wedding is when my work really begins. I will sort through your images to fully edit and retouch. Retouching is done at the discretion of the photographer and once images are presented they are considered fully edited. Additional retouching can be requested for an hourly editing fee. I know it is difficult to wait to view your images so about two weeks after your wedding I will post 100 images I feel best tell your wedding story in a private online gallery for you, and your guests, to preview. About 4-6 weeks after your wedding all of your images will be ready for viewing. After you have received your images you will select the ones you would like included in the products included in your collection.
